Business continuity & disaster recovery
Standard posture
AlignAI maintains a documented Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) plan covering business-critical IT systems, tested annually through a tabletop exercise. This control has been independently audited under AlignAI’s SOC 2 Type II examination with no exceptions noted. Backups are monitored for completion, with any failures investigated and rerun. Continuity of the production service relies on AWS’s own availability commitments and SLAs, consistent with the platform’s AWS-hosted infrastructure.
System-of-record considerations
If AlignAI is configured purely as an enrichment layer — pulling context in and pushing outcomes out to a system of record you already run (e.g., ServiceNow or Archer) — the standard BC/DR posture above is the relevant one. If instead AlignAI is configured as the system of record itself for your AI use case inventory, that is a more intensive setup on the backend, since backup posture and system integration considerations for that configuration are addressed specifically as part of standing it up. Raise this directly with your AlignAI account team if system-of-record is the intended posture for your deployment, since it changes what’s required operationally beyond what’s described above.
